Wheat Harvest at Crossroad Farms in Iɴᴅɪᴀna – John Deere X9

Agriculture Machine

The new John Deere X-Series harvests more hectares per day and more tonnes per hour while sustaining perforᴍᴀɴce well into the night and with minimum ʟᴏsses. It also advances your harvest capacity and John Deere’s Total Harvesting Solutions with industry-leading technologies for better ᴍᴀɴagement control.

Our assortment of combine harvesters now includes the X9 high capacity harvester. The S700 Series won’t be discontinued. Large-acreage farmers who require more harvesting capacity should use the X9. An S700 combine is still the best option for most farmers.

When compared to machinery from other ᴍᴀɴufacturers, the X9 1100 with HD50R header delivered 28% more harvesting capacity while maintaining the same level of grain quality, according to independent testing by the Prairie Agricultural Machinery Institute (PAMI). As a result, you can move on to harvesting other crops and conclude the wheat harvest a week early.

For better threshing and separating in high-volume crops, there are two 61 cm rotors with enhanced threshing areas of 45% and 80%1, respectively.

In the most difficult harvesting conditions, the new shoe provides 36% more cleaning area1, efficiently putting clean grain in the tank. Up to 5.3 bushels every second, you can empty a full tank in around one and a half minutes. Three power-folding auger lengths are available. Wider headers and a 23% wider feederhouse are needed to ᴍᴀɴage increased crop flow.

I’m at Crossroad Farms in west central Iɴᴅɪᴀna in this action-packed film as they harvest their 2022 wheat crop, bale and transfer straw, work up the harvested wheat field, and plant soybeans.

Although it is a lengthy film, I chose to compile everything that was happening while I was there into one lengthy video.
