Spraying insecticides, pesticides, fungicides, and other prophylactic treatments onto crops is known as crop spraying. The procedure, formerly known as crop dusting in agricultural services, is used to cover vast expanses of crops and shield them from regional bugs and pests. In the past, the process has been carried out by deploying aircraft to spray insecticide onto the crops from a distance. Quad bikes, boom sprayers, and even drones are now used in modern ᴍᴇᴛʜods to more accurately disseminate the treatment without harming nearby residences and wildlife.
Crop spraying is a technique used in the agricultural industry to protect crops from pests and animals that, if not controlled, could ᴅᴇsᴛʀᴏʏ, devour, and infest crops. Crop spraying can deliver a precise application of insecticide or fertilizer and might offer a very affordable ᴍᴇᴛʜod to prevent product ʟᴏss. Depending on the climate, geological sites, and general surroundings, protection against pests can vary.
Crop spraying is a tool used by farming services to prevent insect and ᴅɪsᴇᴀsᴇ infestation. Farmers can stop the growth and spread of ᴅᴀɴɢᴇʀᴏᴜs bugs and insects as well as weed species and ɪʟʟɴᴇsses that might affect crops by using crop protection chemicals including herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides.
The types of agricultural services, including the kinds of crop protection goods needed, will depend on where the farm is located. Farmers must be able to comprehend how and why specific pesticides function as well as which crop spraying chemical is most suitable in order to decide the types of products required to maintain levels of pests and ᴅɪsᴇᴀsᴇ. The term used to distinguish how various products function and connect to the classification of the chemical is “modes of action.” Understanding these can enable you to use crop protection in an efficient ᴍᴀɴner, but it’s crucial to speak with an agricultural service provider if you’re unsure about the kinds of crop spraying you need.
Our crop spraying fleet.
We operate some crop spraying equipment at awsm Farming, and it is available for use as part of our agricultural service provision. To increase your farming efficiency, we can supply operations employees and keep all of our equipment in excellent condition. The self-propelled Bateᴍᴀɴ RB35 machine has a 4000 liter tank and, if needed, can adjust its boom configurations from 12 meters to 28 meters. To suit the type of crop and your present growing conditions, the equipment is supplied with either flotation tires or row crop wheels. The most recent GPS guidance technology is installed in our machine, helping with steering and vehicle control. We can apply and distribute the product very precisely and effectively thanks to auto boom height sensors.
A secondary Trailed 24m 4000-liter sprayer is our second unit utilized for corporate agricultural spraying. For us to effectively meet important product application ᴅᴇᴀᴅlines when our clients’ time is limited, this sprayer is accessible as a backup during hectic times. We provide optional supplementary services, such as quad bike spraying, nap sack spraying, and a 1200 liter boom-less sprayer with the ability to spray at 6 meters wide, for harder-to-reach sections of your fields and arms. These agricultural services were created with the express purpose of making it simpler and more convenient to apply to moorland, small paddocks, and steep slopes.
Every year, the NSTS independently tests and certifies each of our crop spraying equipment. All workers are knowledgeable and sᴋɪʟʟed AWSM Farming reps. We have a large selection of larger water tanks and are able to provide customers with water bowsers, so we can guarantee that our customers will have access to a supply of water for the sprayer.
