Iɴᴅɪᴀ produces a significant amount of pomegranate (Punica granatum), which is a very valuable fruit crop. It was primarily developed in Iʀᴀɴ, and pomegranate farming has since spread widely throughout Mediterranean nations like Sᴘᴀɪɴ, Morocco, Baluchistan, Eɢʏᴘᴛ, Iʀᴀɴ, and Aғɢʜᴀɴɪsᴛᴀɴ.
