Liebherr LR 1600/2

The LR 1700-1.0 has a rapid connection option available. In order to assure affordable heavy haulage, the slewing platform’s transport weight is decreased to around 42 tons. According to Mammoet, the SK 6000 enables EPCs to build larger than ever before with modules lifted straight onto the hull, without a requirement to adhere to the same design as the SK350 and the smaller SK190, both of which have a capacity of 5000 tons. Even though it can be set up on a whole ring, employing just a small section of track can cut the necessary setup area by as much as 45%. This is because the ballast is situated in the center of the ring rather than in the back, on the side of the ring opposite from the boom foot. The maximum outreach is 144 meters, and ground bearing pressure is kept as low as possible.
