Emirates is looking to expand its cabin crew, and the recruitment process has made some of the amazing benefits that its flight attendants enjoy clear. Think of the opportunity to travel at a reduced rate, 30 days of annual leave to travel, and layover expenditures for meals and lodging overseas. But one benefit in particular has struck our attention: free, fully equipped lodging in Dubai.
Yes, the airline provides a number of residences throughout Dubai for rent-free living for cabin crew, who live in shared two- and three-bedroom homes with other crew members. Even still, it seems like a great deal, especially since Dubai is the airline’s main center of operations.
The application has provided some insight into the requirements you’ll need to fulfill when you apply, such as the need that you be physically fit with a healthy BMI and that you have a minimum height of 160 cm and an arm reach of 212 cm while standing on tiptoes.
A very deᴍᴀɴding interview process will also be required of you, including a group assessment, a “height and reach assessment,” which determines whether you can satisfy safety requirements, a language test, a behavioral assessment, and a final interview.
If you’re persuaded, the airline will be holding a number of open days all throughout the UK in May and June for people looking to join its cabin crew.
