The first Iɴᴅɪᴀn wOᴍᴀɴ pilot to fly an airplane beyond the North Pole, spanning a record-breaking distance of around 16,000 kilometers, took her place in the SFO aviation museum on Friday. The first flight across the North Pole was conducted in 2021 by an all-female Flight Iɴᴅɪᴀ pilot team under the direction of Zoya Agarwal on the longest air route in the world between San Francisco (SFO) in the United States and Bengaluru in Iɴᴅɪᴀ.
The US-based aviation museum was thrilled with the accomplishments of all of Air Iɴᴅɪᴀ’s female pilots and gave them a place in their collection as a result. The San Francisco Aviation Luis A Turpen Aviation museum, often known as the SFO Aviation Museum, has never engaged a person as a pilot, according to Captain Zoya Agarwal in an interview with ANI.
Recently, the SFO Museum honored Iɴᴅɪᴀn pilot Zoya Agarwal, who has inspired millions of young girls and women to pursue their dreams via her outstanding aviation career and advocacy for women’s empowerment around the world.
She became the first female Iɴᴅɪᴀn pilot to enter our program. Her inspiring career with Air Iɴᴅɪᴀ, which featured her record-breaking flight from SFO to Bengaluru in 2021 with an all-female crew, is in addition to her positive attitude on the world and commitment to helping other girls and women achieve their goals. In order to preserve the excitement and historical relevance of Captain Agarwal’s extraordinary career, the SFO Museum is able to share her personal narrative with current and future generations of aviation enthusiasts.

In order to improve and huᴍᴀɴize the surroundings of the airport when the museum at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) first opened in 1980, it did it primarily by using images that were posted on walls. Since then, it has grown into a bustling exhibition schedule with galleries dispersed throughout all five terminals, building a collection of artifacts pertaining to the history of SFO and commercial aviation that now numbers more than 150,000.
Iɴᴅɪᴀ has the largest proportion of female pilots in the world, claims the International Society of Women Airlines. In the interim, Iɴᴅɪᴀ has seen a sharp rise in the proportion of female pilots. Comparatively to 5.5% in the US, this amounts to around 12.4% of all pilots.
