TBM Boring Machine Reached at Station
Four TBMs were used to construct the Metro Tunnel’s twin 9 km-long tunnels. Each TBM measured 120m in length, 7.28m in diameter, and weighed more than 1100 tons. The cutter head, which weighed 100 tons and operated like a drill capable of drilling through rock six times harder than concrete, was the heaviest part of the machine. The cutter head’s diameter was 7.28 meters. Each TBM has a staff of up to ten persons working on it at once, including the TBM operator. The TBMs were completely furnished with amenities for our employees, including an office, kitchen, and restrooms. They were staffed and monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They used a cutting-edge navigation system that made sure they excavated precisely along the alignments of the tunnels.

Plowing of HDPE pipes along the railway
Despite being relatively new to the railroad industry, HDPE pipes are quickly gaining favor in drainage applications for railroads and intermodal transportation. HDPE pipe provides superior structural perforᴍᴀɴce, long service life, and great pricing. When compared to concrete and metal pipe, lightweight 20-foot pipe lengths save installation times, reduce installed costs, and increase job site safety. Polyethylene’s durability protects against stray currents and withstands corrosive flows, chemical ᴀᴛᴛᴀᴄᴋs, and abrasive flows.

SANAYI EBZ200 Roadheader
On Shakhtar Sibirskaya LLC, new Roadheaders EBZ200 have been delivered. In August 2019, Shakhtar Sibirskaya, LLC purchased and received 3 Roadheaders EBZ200 made by Sany Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. as part of the investment and production program. This company is a leader in the production of mining equipment worldwide. The biggest coal firms in Kuzbass took into account the technical traits and expertise of road headers produced by Rᴜssɪᴀn and foreign ᴍᴀɴufacturers when working on this delivery.
One road header is currently operating in rocks with a strength factor of f10 and is launched on the flank track shaft. A 60-meter sink is planned for October. At the Central Remsberg industrial site, service engineers put together the other 2 road headers. In the fourth quarter of 2019, marching crews’ work on cutting horizontal drifts on the coal seam will reach its full operating capacity.
