The top airline currently employs 16,000 cabin crew members, but they hope to increase this number by 4,000 so that it will be ᴄʟᴏsᴇ to 20,000 by the following year. The training of both newly hired and current cabin crew members will heavily rely on the metaverse.
According to Adel Ahmed Al Redha, the A350 was being assembled in Humboldt, California. To analyze every detail and simulate entering the aircraft, the metaverse and virtual reality were used.
We entered the plane using metaverse, virtual reality, and examined every little thing and space inside, including the seats and the galley. According to Al Redha, “We have configured an airplane, and what we see there now is exactly what we’ll see in 2024.
With the aid of simulated real-world scenarios, the metaverse technology is being used to train cabin crew in an effective and accurate ᴍᴀɴner.
We currently have 16,000 cabin crew members in training, but by the middle of the following year, we hope to have ᴄʟᴏsᴇ to 20,000. Whether it’s the cuisine we serve or how we interact with our guests, we are always improving our onboard service as well. Without this technology, we wouldn’t be able to provide our team with this training in a timely and correct ᴍᴀɴner.
On September 28 and 29, the Dubai Metaverse Assembly was held at the Museum of the Future. There were more than 600 specialists present, along with 25 workshops, 30 presenters, and 40 tech businesses.
