Hᴜɴɢᴀʀʏ has a long heritage of agrarian flight. A long time ago Hungarian Air Service started spraying with outdated fixed-wing aircraft, heliᴄᴏᴘters arrived later, about 1970. The Air Service possessed a number of Kamov Ka-26 heliᴄᴏᴘters, however after 1989 they sold for minor enterprises. Over the years Kamovs were growing older and older and the spare parts supply got complex. Around 2005 a handful of firms opted to modify the Kamov Ka-26 for a new model. They chose the Alouette II.
